Working on the space coast
I’m working at Canaveral Air Force Station for a few weeks. Here’s some pictures from the test site.
The beach is secluded, as it is off-limits to the general public. It’s nice to see a beach in a more natural state; most beaches are very strange, unnatural places, although many people are used to it and don’t realize how damaged they are. A natural beach has plants right up to the tide line, and is covered with shells and debris. Lots of animals live in the scrubby, tough vegetation.

Wow, the water is a beautiful aqua! I keep forgetting that Florida water is so different than NJ water. The osprey pic is amazing! Looks like it has a funny expression on its face.
How is it that I worked at the same place as you for 8 years but never got to go to places like this? Tell me that it is for a really boring submarine project or a really stressful Darkside project to make me feel better.
Let’s go with the stressful project. And it was something of a flop, probably the worst one in a long time. 2 weeks of long days. Feel better? :-)
