An Arizona trail outing

Category: Uncategorized

Earlier this year I went on a small outing on the Arizona trail on the north side of the San Francisco peaks. Of course, I took my dog with me. This area is just south of the lower parking lot of the Snow Bowl, about 20 minutes outside of downtown.

Like all dogs, Tycho can’t pass up a good opportunity to roll in unmentionable substances… nothing makes him happier.

Hi Dan. BTW, that’s not a dog, that’s a wolf. Beautiful dog. Smiling dog.

Dan, we’ve been seeing strange bugs up here in CNY. We’ve had an unusual amount of rain and humidity along with very high temperatures. My theory is that these bugs think they are living in Florida. I think they’re ’bout to stand their ground and be a threat to civilization. I don’t know about you, but I think I have entertained too many sci-fi scenarios- like when the insects mutate so rapidly that they can adapt to any environment whereas man cannot?

So to the point, they mustn’t speak like Jiminy Cricket. That’s all I ask.

I agree, the cave crickets are poised to topple human civilization. You don’t need to worry about them imitating Disney characters; they’re far too evil for that.
