under the sea in Mexico
A large grouper just above the reef where I always see them.
There is a seahorse (actually many) in this image. Can you find it?
That picture is how things really look when you’re deep enough for the water to filter out alnost all of the red and green light. Here’s a slightly more revealing image:

omg! The stingray pic is my favorite, it almost looks like a stock photo. But the pipe fish is also cool, and the turtle, and you look so good in your scuba suit!
Is there a poisonous fish in there somewhere? A lionfish (I think that’s what they’re called)?
Yes, you got it, it’s a poisonous lionfish. I will send you some images of me in the water, Paul took them. That Ray (the profile of one from the side) was so beautiful to see. They ripple like ocean waves. And they look so fierce, but really they are docile. But I made sure not to pull a steve Irwin.
